Josh Goraya
Fall Winter 2014
One of the Hi-5 designers this season was, Josh Goraya who
showed his collection, showing the his belief that the streets are
cooler than the runway.
“Fashion is not only about red carpets and high profile
gatherings, in fact the precise identity of fashion is what you see on the
streets every day.” – Josh Goraya
Josh for his FW 14 line took his last collection forward by
getting inspired from his trademark motif, ‘The Shaving Razor’ and mixed with a
contemporary and more abstract version of the old school motif ‘The Paisley’. He gave his collection a very global approach
but kept the major emphasis on Indian Textiles, by designing looks with no
geographical or traditional representation. Therefore the entire line up had
international standards with colors that indulged range from deep jungle
greens, arrow-wood, Pompeian red, Everglade to jet black. Crisp silk shirts with
chiffon embroidery, buoyant silk bomber jackets, quilted jackets and overlap
biker jackets with leather, wool, denim and velvet details were seen.
Thank You!
